Highly dynamic, the OXY INJECTOR-VENTOXAL is a patented oxygen-transfer equipment with high mixing properties expertly designed by Air Liquide to be easily immersed in waste-water basins.
To start, the water that needs to be treated is pumped into a gas-liquid contactor where oxygen is introduced. The oxygen-enriched stream is then injected back into the basin through one of four stirring nozzles which optimize overall oxygenation and water mixing. OXY INJECTOR-VENTOXAL is suitable for treating varying levels of pollution thanks to its significant injection capability. It is more specifically designed for deep basins (typically more than 6 meters in depth).
Meticulously crafted, the OXY INJECTOR-VENTOXAL is composed of a frame, pump, gas-liquid contractor and piping.The equipment is available in both a compact version, as well as a larger-scale version with an external pump. For greater simplicity, we offer four sizes depending on the specific waste-water flow rate to treat.
In the compact version, all the oxygenation and mixing components are cleverly mounted on a frame. The unit is installed at the bottom of the basin. In the far-reaching external pump version, the recirculation of the waste water can be provided either by a submersed pump (powered by a motor mounted above the water) or by a land waste pump. For this comprehensive option, the gas-liquid contractor is outside of the basin.
A single piece of equipment can inject up to 240kg/h O2 per unit. Conveniently, multiple OXY INJECTOR-VENTOXAL systems can be installed to meet the need for dissolved oxygen. The power control and gas cabinets are installed close to the basins, while the quantities of oxygen transferred can be optimized by Air Liquide’s experts with a control system based on dissolved oxygen or redox potential monitoring.
In regards to safety conditions, an emergency stop as well as clogging and overheating detection are standard features on the device.
OXY INJECTOR-TURBOXAL is a powerful, patented compact floating oxygen-transfer system designed by Air Liquide for the oxygenation of waste water in shallow basins and lagoons.
Effluent and oxygen are thoroughly mixed by a specific turbine, and the effluent is dispersed downwards by means of a powerful impeller, ensuring excellent transfer of oxygen to the waste-water treatment, and mixing effects on the effluent.
OXY INJECTOR-TURBOXAL is suitable for treating low bio-degradable pollution thanks to its safe shearing effect for the biomass. It is more specifically designed for with shallow basins or lagoons (typically between 2 and 6 meters in depth).
OXY INJECTOR-TURBOXAL is composed of a distinctive turbine, an impeller and a motor-reducer, which are connected to a power-control cabinet and a gas cabinet expertly installed close to the lagoon.
A crane is carefully used to place an OXY INJECTOR-TURBOXAL in the correct position at the surface of the basin or lagoon.
Gas at atmospheric pressure, such as oxygen-rich off-gas of an ozone generator, is able to feed one of the two versions of the OXY INJECTOR-TURBOXAL system.
